Candle Care
To get the most out of your candle please refer to below information.

The first time you light your soy candle, it is important that the first burn is until the liquid wax covers the entire top of the candle, right to the edges.

This is called 'breaking in' or 'memory burn' process, and this will ensure that the candle will perform better and more evenly throughout the life of your candle.

You should burn the candle for 1 hour for each inch of its diameter.
Example: A candle that is 2" wide should be burned for 2 hours to establish its "memory".
This allows the candle to establish a full melt pool increasing the scent throw.

If a candle isn't given a proper memory burn, meaning that it did not have a melt pool to the edges, it will "Core Burn" down the center and a good scent throw cannot be achieved, and you will then be left with wax down the sides.
The above is only required for the first time you light your candle.

Please note: Glass jar's do become hot while the wick is lit.
Place your soy candle onto heat-proof surface ~ coasters work well.

. Never leave a burning candle unattended or within reach of children or animals.
Keep the candle out of drafts and do not move the candle while it's lit.

. Once extinguished, do not move candle until wax has hardened and turns opaque.

. Use caution when extinguishing.

. Keep flame free of foreign objects.

Before re-lighting soy candles, the wick should be trimmed to about 5mm, otherwise the candle will smoke and burn too fast. If the soy candle begins to smoke, it is an indication that the wick is too long and it needs to be trimmed down.
